Hi everyone,graciousness simply means understanding people and have gratitude for what they do.We should be gracious to each other because it is important.Imagineif the whole world were to be selfish and unkind,the world will fall into utter chaos!SOME singaporeans are gracious while some are not.That is because there will always be selfish people in this world who just refuse to change their ways.We can make Andersonians more gracious by giving them serious talks,this will work on some Andrsonians but there will still be a few who refuse to change.Honestly,in my opinion i do not like the 'Magical Dust of Kindness' project as i feel that students will not say the magic words with their heart but only with their mouth because they want the rewards offered.I have not benefited in anyway from this project.

Hi everyone,I am going to talk about cyber contacts.I only have revealed information like birthday and astrological signs.Personal information that can be shared are like your name and your birthday.If you share personal information with people,they may secretly follow you and when you are weak,they will strike and ask you to be friends,if you say yes then it is over.if my cyber pal requests personal information,i would IMMEDIATELY delete him.My experiences include a time when i was playing a MORPG(Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game)when i added a buddy,but just after i added him,he asked me for my yahoo email and password.I immediately deleted him and ignored his requests.If any of my cyber pals asks me to go out with them,i would refuse.To protect ourselves in cyberspace,we must be ready for any attack launched by hackers or harrasers.

T3W5 Cyberwellness-Inappropriate Content

I have seen many unwanted sites around the net,but i did not open them.They just randomly pop up from nowhere.But all you need is a click of the mouse and.PRONTO!It is gone.I saw many inappropriate contents such as YOU ARE THE 10000000001th PERSON TO VISIT OUR SITE!YOU HAVE WON!and other stuff like that.What i usually do is just ignore it or if it is an internet one,i will just X it.I do not know of any friends that have seen inappropriate contents before.I would give my friend the advice of just ignoring it as it is fake and will "kill" your computer.

T3W4 Ciber Addiction

Usually i spend 1 hour a day on the computer.I can say that i am partially addicted because when i start on the computer,i can't seem to "unglue" myself form the screen.Addiction to computer has not affected me in my daily life.My school work,such as powerpoint slides and the blog are spent on the computer.My school work has not been affected by the computer.To prevent Cyber Addiction,we can put in features such as:Auto-Shut Down or Timer to limit ourselves.I would advise my friend to play computer games AS WELL AS STUDY.

T3 W3 Effects Of Prenentive Measures on Pupils

Hi,I think that the cancellation of our activities is good as it lowers the chance of us contracting the H1N1 virus,also known as Influenza A.None of the activities has affected me as i love not going to remedial classes.I partially agree that the cancellation of lessons with halt our progress in learning,but if you work hard,it shoudn't be a problem.I think that the school remains the same,as the air-con in the halls are never used.My relationship with my friends are not affected.In my extra time,i sometimes go to the library or read a book.My activities outside are not affected.

T2 W10 Journal Writing: Reflections of SA1 Performance

I think that all the SA1 papers are tested fairly,although they are a bit too hard.The papers are a fair test as the questions are reasonable.I think i have done ok in this exan as i have improved in all my subjects.I think that the remedial lessons did SOME work on elevating my results.I think my tution did help as they keep giving me alot of help as they are giving me alot of homework.I would work harder to improve my results for SA1.I think the school should give us students some encouragement.

Week 9 Journal Writing : Influenza A H1N1

Hi guys,i just HATE H1N1,quarintines and crappy stuff which will scare people and stuff their mouths with lard.Well H1N1 is a virus which spreads through contact only.If you want to complain,please get a flight to America to complain to Bush.The only countries i know that has H1N1 is Malaysia and China. The temperature taking excersise,to my opinion is useless as they can take their temperature at home.

Clean classrooms dirty classrooms,in every way they are still OUR classrooms,and because of that we should take care of what we have right now.I think that every classroom is dirty but if we put in some effort to clean it,we can make it a better place for us to study in.It is important to keep the classroom clean as in a situation such as sharing the classrooom,we can give the other students a better place to learn.I sometime clean the whiteboard and sweep the floor.From these activities,i learnt that we should not abuse what people have given us but instead we should treasure it.

Kindness,its what makes the world go round.

Kindness means giving way to people and respecting them,most importantly,kindness means helping someone whenever you have the oppurtunity to do so.It is important for people to be kind because if everyone does not want to help each other,the world will be in an utter chaos.People can help each other by showing their kindness towards them.I have done many acts of kindness which neither my friends nor my family have noticed so i prefer to keep it to myself.After performing an act of kindness,i feel free and easy.To promote the act of kindness,the school should do a presentation on kindness. T2 W5 Journal Writing Earth Hour/Earth Day

Lights out everybody,its earth hour!!!!Earth Day is important to me because it reminds me that we all ust do a part to participate in saving the earth.By the phrase'Save The Earth,i can undetstand that the Earth is ours and no one else can save it except us.It is important to follow the 3 Rs because to save the Earth,we have to follow these values.To save the Earth,i can take less time to shower,NO WAY!I already take 5 minutes to shower.Ok then to save the Earth,we can cut down on the use of paper.During Earth Hour,my family and i gather at the swimming pool to chit chat,i found a glow stick under a chair,but i had to give it away to a kiddo who was crying.My other friends sang birthday songs to the birthday girl for glow sticks.By the way,we DO NOT know that girl,eventually they got their glow sticks.Too bad Wallace and Rommel weren't there.

Hi everyone,this week(I'm not so sure) is international friendship day.We celebrate this day to remind us that Singapore is a multi racial country.I don't know how international friendship day came about but i know that it is important.Just so you know,ASEAN stands for Association of Southeast Asian Nations........I quite like the things going on on international friendship day although i have not the least bit idea of what is going on.I do know someone who is from malaysia,MR POW!The school should organize a get together party formall forgien students.

T2 W3 Journal Writing:Improving the school

Hi everyone!Do you like the school's facilities?Well i agree that some are lame,but you must admit that some are cool!I like the cafe 1766 very much as i get to play the computer,however at the computer kiosks,the computer never seems to be working.One thing i gurantee you i will hate for the rest of my life is that today(6/4/2009),I bought a correction tape(blanco)for $1.50.The moment i used it,the string broke,i was so furious.I wanted to get a refund,no one bullies the Au boys and gets away with it!I think that the school should test out the items before selling them.Other areas could be improved are the toliets,some cubicles have either no tissue,cannot be locked or too dirty.Pupils can help in the improvement of the school by making sure that the school is neat and clean.

Hi Everyone have you watched that short clip between shows on okto that is called,eat healthy be healthy?Let me tell you,it sucks.Anyway to be healthy you have to eat a wide variety of food.Some of the unhealthy food we like to eat are potato chips and mc donalds.It is important to be healthy because if we do so,our body will have nutrients to fight viruses.Some of the diseases associated with eating unhealthy food are malaria and more.By eating fruits and veggies,we will get the immunity we need.I do not like fruits and vegetables because they don't taste good,but i know that they are good for me.I support the school campaign because i know that it is good for me.

T2 W1 Journal Writing Earth Hour

Hi everyone Earth Hour is an hour of no electricity for Singapore.It is going to be held on the 28th of march this year.People are organizing this event in hopes of that more people will realize that global warming is getting worse.Everyone will be turning off their lights for 1 hour from 8.30 to 9.30.During Earth Hour we can tell scary ghost stories.Earth is currently facing big difficulties like the drastic change in temperature and many more.We can reduce the usage of cars and walk instead.

T1 W10 :Sports and School Sports Day

My dreams of Ruby getting 3rd at sports day is shattered by the other houses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway,I attended the school sports day and i find it so-so.The most interesting part is when the houses did the Olympic march.The most uninteresting thing is when the games for those at the grand stand started.Me,Chew Jian,Xi Qiang and Timothy were sitting at the top and we kept shouting,throw it behind.MAN! they did not listen one bit!The school can improve by letting those non participants participate in running activities.Engaging in sports is important because it encourages sportsmanship.I engage in swimming because it helps your body's stamina build up.Sports can help us sweat and increase out stamina.

Hi everyone,fire can help us,and it can also harm us.I have ever experienced an incident in my condominium.Actually,a young chap from the 6th story,mine is on the 11th story,accidentally left the stove burning and went to take a nap.Fortunately no one was hurt.If it ever happens again,i will grab my belongings,my prized possessions.Most of the fires caused at home are by man's carelessness.We can prevent fire by being fire safe.

Hi everyone,do you like to read?I do !What do you like to read every morning?
Well the school gets the pupils to read books every morning because they want us to improve in our studies by reading books.I absolutely love reading as it is a good way to improve my English.I like to read adventure stories as well as cartoon stories.I think reading will help me in my school work because i can learn new words from reading.The school can encourage pupils to read by awarding marks for that pupil's group whenever he or she reads 10 different storybooks.I can recommend 2 storybooks.The first one is "A Very Merry Christmas"By Geronimo Stilton himself!I like this book because it teaches kids the true meaning of Christmas.The second one is "Beast Quest:Spiros The Ghost Phoenix"I like to read this book because it is interesting and action-filled.That is all,Bye!

Activities Outside School

Hi everyone,do you have activities outside school?I do!From Monday to Sunday i have,Tuition,Swimming Lessons,Buddhists Classes.I spend almost everyday on these activities at different days.I spend about 1 or 1 and a half hours on these activities.I am involved in these activities because my mom thinks that it is for my own good.I think that these activities are necessary for me because i need to learn new things,but not going overboard with the tuitions!These activities have helped me to learn better.I think these activities affect my studies because i do not have time to do my homework.I feel VERY stressed with all these activities because after a long day's work,i still have tuition.I think pupils should not be involved in outdoor activities because then they will have ample time to do their homework.
